The Floor Covering Buying Process
We function as a traditional Mom and Pop shop, Carrie assists in the selection and ordering process while Peter completes the installation. An initial visit to the store would involve a customer borrowing as many samples as they like to view them in their home or business. After a product is selected, a nominal measurement fee is charged and an appointment is made with Peter for an onsite measurement. A detailed estimate is provided with the fee for measuring deducted. Upon order a deposit is placed to reserve an installation date and coordinate the material purchase. Generally orders take a couple of weeks for materials to be delivered to us, so turnaround time from deposit to installation is 4 to 5 weeks.
